Tom Gavin, CLU, ChFC

Tom entered the insurance business in 1974 after receiving his B.A. degree from UCDavis.  After initial sales work, he recruited and trained agents for a large mutual insurance company.  In 1980, he elected to return to his work with clients and reactivated his agent contract.  He has secured the two professional insurance designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) (1986) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 2000.  He is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and has received numerous company and industry awards.  His civic accomplishments include:

                                        Tami Schreiner

After interupting her corporate work experience to raise her family, Tami returned to assist Tom in 1994.  She quickly progressed to manage the employee benefit clients of the firm.  In 1998, she secured her insurance licensing to directly assist clients sercure benefit programs.  An informal partnership ensued with Tom which was eventually formalized to create Gavin & Schreiner Insurance Services.  With her day to day management of accounts, Tami has developed a keen understanding of the various plans and benefits in the market.  Other acheivements include:

                                                                Jamie Blomdal 

Also a graduate of UCDavis, Jamie left her job working with customer accounts for a major corporation to raise her family.  She has also spent several years serving on various community committees and boards and continues to do so.  When their youngest daughter reached grade school, it was time to transition back to the "paid" working world.  She joined Gavin & Schreiner to provide office support and assistance with the IT programs of the firm.
